Introduction
Congratulations and welcome to Motion Tricks with the Emanuele Colombo course. You’ve made the right choice, and there is an exciting adventure in the world of animation. Let’s see what you need to take with you on that journey so that you can prepare for the start and reach the final destination and become a real animation guru.
I’m Emanuele and this is my first ever advanced Motion Design course. I’m very happy for the opportunity to share with you everything I’ve learned over 10+ years of experience working in animation. ‘
Over this course, I will give a 360º tour of the main pillars of motion design, starting with a strong foundation based on the principles of animation and working our way up through different exercises that will further expand your knowledge. My goal for this course was to make it accessible for both newcomers and more experienced designers, in order to give everyone a chance to learn and see just how adaptable animation is.
Everything you will learn here will help you create and build stronger, more complex animations. I’ve put everything I know in this course so I hope you will find it useful on your journey. Most importantly, I hope you enjoy it.

If you want to achieve success in animation, 3D modeling, video production or anything else, the main thing you need to do is to practice as much as possible.

Here’s what you need to do:
- Create a public portfolio profile on Instagram.
This will help you to keep track of your progress. You’ll start seeing it only after you upload your 10th shot. What is more, having a public profile can motivate you to keep on a posting schedule. Over time, it will promote you as an author. - Ask professionals and promote yourself.
All cool artists are humans made of flesh and bones, just like you. Don’t hesitate to send them your works, ask for comments or advice, there’s no harm in asking.

Also, we can help you with promotion by posting your work on our profile. We don’t always have enough time to answer everyone in direct messages, but we gladly check tagged posts.
- Work every day → Work efficiently
All the motivational articles say you should work every day. However, you aren’t a robot, you have your personal life. Your goal is to make at least 2 animations per week, but each next work should be somehow better than the previous one. - Don’t bother too much ?♂️
And do not get stuck on some work for a long time. It’s better to come back to it later and start doing another one for now than waste a lot of time on suffering. (Please, read it twice)
Actually, that’s all. Take the first step right now and in 3-4 weeks you’ll get a certain experience, some interesting works, and tears of joy.
